  If you are someone looking to do business in a café in Victoria Park, whether it's having a chat with a potential client or staying on top of work e-mails while sipping your coffee, the local Dome is one of the gems of Victoria Park. It is tricky for a brand like Dome to walk the line between rustic friendly neighbourhood café and cookie-cutter multi-outlet franchise, but they manage to pull it off admirably. In there, there is still some semblance of rustic friendly neighbourhood café, even though you know in the back of your head that you are sitting in one of 130+ similar branches in 6 countries. But what makes Dome Vic Park standout locally is that to my knowledge (please correct me if I'm wrong), it is one of the few local cafés that offer their own wifi, supplementing the Albany Highway wifi provided by the Vic Park Council. This is a big plus when doing your work, because the Council wifi blocks Google Drive, DropBox, GitHub and other sites that many people working in this day and age need at their fingertips, but all are available on Dome's wifi (curiously, the Council doesn't block YouTube which I imagine consumes much more bandwidth that Google Docs). I am not a coffee drinker, so while I certainly enjoy Dome's hot chocolate/tea/cookies, I can't comment on the actual coffee. But for the staff, the ambience, and the wifi, I give it 5 stars.

  Dome need to overhaul their image. No healthy menu options at all! They need some raw treats & gluten free options on the menu! Also need to dial down the sugar.
